You may wonder why I’m doing all my posts in instalments, the fact is I lost all of my first attempt so I’m publishing them as I go!
We left Port Isaac and headed off for New Polzeath, where I managed to park in a prime position on the cliff, the only trouble was it started to pour down. Undeterred, we set up the interior of the car as a painting studio, the only trouble was, the light was changing so fast that Verity and I ended up with the same scene but completely different weather conditions, plus hers is better.
Pentire Point from New Polzeath, work in progress
After several more quick showers we decided to walk across the beach and get a coffee and have a mooch around the shops.
Having exhausted the delights of Polzeath, we headed off for a coastal walk to Lundy Bay. It was very sheltered and we cursed ourselves for not lugging our paints with us. We did have our cameras though so we took plenty of photos. I particularly like the one of the Queen!
